No one can speak for the future, come as it may. Emotions don't always last forever, and I believe it is because we live. We live, because we know we will die. Nothing lasts forever, in that sense. We have the ability to experience an intense range of emotions, because we all internally know some day we won't feel anymore. But if things lasted forever, we would surely take them for granted. We're given a gift, or perhaps it is just the beauty of the science.
